Turmeric, the natural ibuprofen

Turmeric, the natural ibuprofen

Turmeric is the best natural analgesic for joint pain, arthritis or gout; or muscular, after sports or injury.

Its anti-inflammatory power makes it a great ally against pain, digestive problems or aging. And without side effects.

Inflammation, a very current epidemic, causes the degeneration of our cells. Hence the importance of following an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa), a root of the ginger family, can help us with its anti-inflammatory power. Its yellow-orange color is due to curcumin, the phytochemical that gives it that anti-inflammatory action, but also an antioxidant and stabilizer of blood sugar levels.

More than 9,000 clinical studies have analyzed its benefits, and to this day all support its positive results. In addition, it contains vitamins such as C, B6 and B3, iron, zinc, selenium and manganese.

The therapeutic properties of turmeric

Turmeric is prized for its many healthy effects. But it is very important to accompany it with black pepper. Thanks to piperine, its spicy compound, turmeric absorption increases by about 158%.

It is one of the best natural options for preventing and supporting the treatment of various types of cancers. Curcumin, a highly antioxidant, has been linked to the reduction of colon cancer cells; it also inhibits the action of one of the essential proteins for tumor growth. This makes it an ideal complement to the diet as a preventive measure.
It protects the heart twice. Vitamin B6 inhibits the production of homocysteine, which by damaging cell walls can lead to heart problems, and curcumin has been shown to lower cholesterol.

Used for centuries as a stomach protector, turmeric is also very useful in cases of constipation, cramps, irritable bowel and Crohn's disease. Its anti-inflammatory effect decreases the risk of ulcer, bleeding in the intestines and generally eliminates irritation of the intestinal walls.

The components of turmeric have also been shown to improve liver function and reduce toxicity levels in the human body. This is due to the stimulation of the lymphatic system, which facilitates the elimination of waste.
